About: Henna, or mehndi, is a temporary body art derived from the henna plant. It has been used for centuries for beautification by many cultures from Spain, Africa, the Middle East, India, and beyond. Mountain Mehndi offers superior henna body art throughout Utah and Idaho. Based in Salt Lake City, it is a cooperative group of henna body artists dedicated to the science and history of the art form, professionalism, and flawless application and who pride themselves on providing the finest all-natural henna products and services available in the region by private appointment, large group events, community festivals, and more. Malynda Tomassian, founder of the group, has been working with henna for 15 years and has made it her sole profession since 2004. She is an internationally known and respected artist who focuses on adapting this ancient art form into modern contexts while maintaining it's rich cultural roots.
